[ a n y m a ] plays video music. The artist duo from Fibourg, Switzerland, improvises during the dialogue with other musicians (at dBâle with Thomas Peter) using self-developped instruments, which enable to play and modify pictures in the same way as music is played and sounds are modified. Maïté Colin on the videobass gives rythm and structure, weaves raw video sequences into subtle textures and colour melodies. Michael Egger further kneads this material, re-mixes, adds feedback and plays the virtual camera as a soloist…

[ a n y m a ] macht Bildmusik. Das Künstlerduo aus Fribourg improvisiert im Dialog mit anderen Musikern (bei dBâle mit Thomas Peter) auf eigenentwickelten Instrumenten, welche Bilder wie Töne spielen und bearbeiten lassen: Maïté Colin am Videobass gibt Rhythmus und Struktur, verwebt rohe Videosequenzen zu feinen Texturen und Farbmelodien. Michael Egger knetet daran weiter, mischt ab und spielt Soli auf der virtuellen Kamera...
